Steve Pokorny is one of my most candid guests on the podcast thus far. In both Catholic and non-Catholic circles, there are very few people with the passion and insights into how to unchain and heal from the grips of porn more than Steve. He has the courage of a knight battling against the darkness, with Christ at his side, to help those in the grips of porn addiction.
In this interview, Steve shares his personal testimony as he fought through childhood wounds and events that led him into bouts of despair and self-loathing, and how, with the grace of God, finally overcame porn addiction. He also shares tips on how we can protect ourselves and our children from this silent evil.
Steve holds an MA in theology and a specialization in catechetics from Franciscan University of Steubenville, as well as an MTS from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies in Washington D.C. Steve is a Certified Life Coach from the Life Coach Training Institute. Author of “Redeemed Vision: Setting the Blind Freed from the Pornified Culture,” Steve also is an internationally-known speaker, speaking with a wide variety audiences on many topics. He is married and lives with his family in San Antonio, Texas.
